Jet black rim choice help me decide

Having a hard time trying to decide between rims for my e90. Currently sitting on the factory 220's. I was dead set on the arc-8's matte bronze in 18 x 10 squared when they came available, but after seeing my buddys oem zcp's. Wanted to take a poll as well consider other options. With that I am going to make my decision.

OEM ZCP looks really great with body line on our M3 however, I do have a second set that that is gunmetal as well. If budget permits. go with two sets.

Depends on whether you are getting wheels for popular aesthetics or for better handling/ride. ZCP trumps all reasonably priced options in the popular aesthetics category...but I would never put them on my car.

Buy what YOU think looks best. Who cares what everyone else thinks? It's your car and you're the one that should like it. If that means Barney-purple spokes, then go for it.

aesthetics really. my car is not tracked or daily driven. I was feeling the bronze arc 8s for the design and the color, because you see more silver and black rims on black.

Silver wheels on a black car add nice contrast without being too flashy.

Op, 99% of the time I'm on board with Dparm as he offers a lot of good insight but if you go with Barney-purple spokes I will revoke your man card and Dparms for steering you in that direction

I have 20 BBS CH-R, absolutely love them, haven't seen any rims on any M3 that I liked more than mine.

I think matte bronze on black does look superb yet understated. This would be a great option if you are after a more individual look, which I personally favor, rather than the stock silver or black ZCPs you will see on every other M3. Both wheels you mentioned are variations of the classic cross-spoke design so you can't go wrong with either - you'll need to decide on 18" vs 19" though .....
