Last Ride In The M3
Over the last 17 years I've owned some very cool cars. The Acura NSX is the highlight but the E46 M3 was a close second until I picked up my E92 M3 over a year ago.
I wanted to make it a true dual duty car with all the reliability one could possibly have. Rod bearings, check. Upgraded EDC dampers, check. Bigger brakes, check. But in a recent turn of events I was left with the option of selling my M3 or selling my recently acquired R32 Skyline GTR. Sadly it was the M3 with the virtual 'for sale' sign. This morning I watched it drive off, headed north to Massachusetts. What a roller coaster of emotions. One day if I have the means to pick up another, I will. I'll recommend the E9x M to anyone looking for that special something that can't be found in cars sold today. If you're a lurker here on the boards thinking of buying one, do it. There's nothing else like it.

Sad sad day! Its a little bit of consolation that the guy that bought it looks like he's really going to love it. He had that little "This thing is awesome!" twinkle in his eye right at 4:00. Sounds like its going to a good home!

I appreciate how sad you genuinely looked at the end of the video. if I was that buyer, and I'm sure he is, I'd be happy as shit i bought it from some one who really loved that car.

Sad day for sure. I have shared that same feeling. But that all went away when I drove home in my F10 M5.

Such a good idea to make the video though. But at the end when you said, "Kinda wanna cry" and then walked into a garage with an R32.... you'll be fine. Lol.

My friend has an R32 GTR. That is a seriously sweet car. It feels so much more analog and raw than the M3. On track, it was a beast and easy to rotate under throttle too.
Also, it won't depreciate in price if you decide to sell it in the future. These things will only go up in value. Enjoy it!

Six months with mine and the car is intoxicating. Still gets looks and wows everywhere it goes. Its almost like an enigma. Suffice to say, based on your reaction in the video; you'll get another. |

Beautiful M3. The interior touch with the splattered paint in M colours complimented the car well. Also, the amount of love you had for that car was clearly seen/felt in the ending of your vid.

Wow what an incredible video. I traded mine in 2012 for a 997TT. As good as the Pcar was, it was so hard to give up the M. I always said that one day I would get one again for keepers.
The time is now, as I just purchased a 2011. Waiting patiently for it to get shipped here..
