Hello guys, I am thinking about getting one of the offset below not sure what is the best tires for these offset. I am looking the maximum tire size for both set up for our M3.

18x10.0" ET25 - 22.45lbs
18x11.0" ET25 - 23.35lbs


18x9.5" ET22 - 21.75lbs
18x10.5" ET27 - 22.50lbs

with the 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 set up, i think you can go 275/35 up front and 305/35 in the rear...

There are sizes that fit and sizes that are actually available... 275's in the front and 285's in the rear are what I run because nobody makes a high performance, quality 295/35/18 except for ps2's (expensive and PSS is better), toyo r88 (horribly loud), Nitto NT05 (limited availability), and new G Force Rival (not yet available). 305's might work but even fewer options available and more likely to rub. Some people run 295/30/18 in the rear but the only option for a matching front is 265/35/18 (Michelin Pilot Sport Cups or Yokohama AD08). I like to run 275's in the front so I have a set of PSS's for the street and Hankook rs3's for the track (with 285's in the rear).

Note that with both of the front rim options/offsets you will need 5mm spacers to run 275's in the front with kw coilovers due to inner spring clearance.

good to know, i really want to run 275/35/18 front and 295/35/18 rear once my PSS runs out, but the only tire that has this set up suitable for the streets are nitto nt05... what do you think of this tire??

I have never had the NT05 but they seem to get mixed reviews. I have found them hard to find in a matching 275/35/18 and 295/35/18 set. They do produce both of those sizes but one or the other seems to get sold out often. I think the 275/35/18 NT05 get's snatched up because it's a common drift tire and size.

I have heard good things about the new G-Force Rival. You may want to hold out for that... If not 285/35/18 is a good size for a 10.5" wheel and is easier to fit without rubbing. I have 285/35/18 RS3's on a 10.5" et22 wheel and they fit great without rubbing. I would expect to have some challenges fitting a 295/35/18 on that same wheel/offset (10.5 et27 should fit but is not guaranteed). I also have 285/35/18 PSS on my 11" wide wheel and it's a little stretched. It does however allow me to fit an 11 et18 which looks aggressive.

Hey Sean,

A 275/35/18 for the front no issues with either size and offset. For the rear with a ET25 I wouldn't go above a 295/35/18, however tire choice is limited in this size. I think to fit a 305 comfortably out there you will probably need a ET31 or 33 with the 11" wide wheel. With a 10.5" wide wheel wouldn't go beyond a 295 tire.

Bridgestone makes this tire with the RE760, also one of the lightest of this size.

yea ive seen mixed reviews with those tires also, but I wanted to get a first hand review before making my decision... ive never heard of the g force rival, but ill look into those also since they seem like they make the sizes I want, 275/35/18 and 295/35/18. im also running on 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 +22 all around, and in the rear, it seems like I can run 295/35 without rubbing with how much im dropped, but I wouldn't know forsure until I actually run them... but thanks for taking the time to reply, i think i can still get about 2000 miles out of my PSS until i need to switch, good thing i don't DD my car or that 2000 miles will come quick with how much I drive hahah! imma look into the G force rivals and nitto nt05's for the next set of tires...

I just remembered that I did run this tire on apex wheels 9.5et22, 10.5et27 with 275/35/18 and 295/35/18 sizes on eibach springs. They did not rub but the negative camber was adjusted to near max (no camber plates but pins pulled in the front). Decent tire but outdated.

295/35/18 tires on 10.5 et22 wheels may be a challenge. I was unable to fully eliminate rubbing when I had 19x10.5et22 wheels with 295/30/19 ad08's and eibach springs. the ad08's run wide so other tires and suspension settings may help.

yea i really wanted to run AD08 but they don't have the sizes i want, i mean they have 295/30/18, but i think a 30 sidewall on a 18 inch wheels is too short...but would a little more camber help in the back to not rub a 295/35/18 size tire??

Tire Rack also has Continental ExtremeContact DW in 275/35/18 and 295/35/18 sizes, but I have no first-hand experience with that tire. Decent price though.

I was gonna mention these... IMG here on the forum and a few others i know, swear by these tires!

Ok for the track, but not great though. I went with NT05 in 275/295-35 on 9.5/10.5 wheels. No rubbing at stock ride height. They were not difficult to find either. Will have a track review in two weeks...
