Very beautiful car.
I chased one for awhile. I even contemplated a personal license plate, CALTRANZ, but, then, thought better of it.
By the way, I checked out the vin numbers of those first showing up for sale to see if I could find the real first "number one" car out of the 200 produced. I think the last 6 digits of the vin tells you when it came off the line. I found 37 Limerocks for sale with the lowest vin number ending with 592839 (Braman BMW) and the highest to be 593209. FWIW

Fire Orange looks great with black accents. I've had wild colored cars before. People will either love or hate them. But hey, it makes it easy to find your car in a parking lot.

I think we discussed this earlier that it is a bit cheaper to get this as a package than all the pieces separately from BMW. It is for the person who wants a bit of customization to their car that has a bit of exclusivity out of the box. Get off of his sack.

With the Lime Rock version, ONE of 200 you are more likely to have a collectible car in 25 years. The way BMW is creating special versions, it's like saying a long good bye to an old friend. An engineer's dream project coming to an end. First and only V8 in an M3.
