It's kind of funny that their view of the future ended up coming to fruition in the 70s but was largely reversed in the 80s through the 00s. The American dream home remains a lovely colonial with an acre of land and a white picket fence. That image is largely unchanged. Interesting that the style of home built in the 50s and 60s is much more "futuristic" than most being built today. There are entire neighborhoods of these 70s eyesores. We largely have pretty standard home structures. My house was built in 1935 and the house around the corner was built in 2003. They look nearly identical.

You get a great view of the city, you are water front and you have an out door space and free flow of fresh air to everyone?
NOT BAD! My only issue is the color. They could have done a better job and more windows.

Waterfront is great in South Beach, but waterfront doesn't have the same appeal when it's a rushing river in Canada.

This vid shows that we are not so stylistically creative... or creative in general. We keep rehashing the same old designs and call them new (mostly).

I believe every 3 blocks is one unit. There are still some for sale, they are hell expensive.
