FS: Blizzak LM25 Winter Tires for a Lexus IS350... MAY fit a M3 *SOLD*

Yeah, not exactly the place to advertise these but who knows...

*SOLD*

I've got a set of Blizzak winter tires off of an IS350 I'd like to sell.

Bridgestone Blizzak LM25
2 - 225/40/18
2 - 255/40/18

225s have ~8mm tread left and 255s have ~6mm

I know stock size on 18s for the M3 are 245/40 and 265/40. The Tirerack website recommends 235/40 & 255/40. So apparently the rears match up fine, just the front is a little narrow. I've actually run a 225/45 up front last winter with no problems and will be doing so again this winter.

Here are the differences of using a 245/40 vs 225/40 Front:
http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

Section Width: 9.64 in 245 mm vs Section Width: 8.85 in 225 mm
Rim Diameter: 18 in 457.2 mm vs Rim Diameter: 18 in 457.2 mm
Rim Width Range: 8 - 9.5 in vs Rim Width Range: 7.5 - 9 in
Overall Diameter: 25.71 in 653.03 mm vs Overall Diameter: 25.08 in 637.03 mm
Sidewall Height: 3.85 in 97.79 mm vs Sidewall Height: 3.54 in 89.916 mm
Radius: 12.85 in 326.39 mm vs Radius: 12.54 in 318.51 mm
Circumference: 80.77 in 2051.5 mm vs Circumference: 78.79 in 2001.2 mm
Revs per Mile: 809.0 vs Revs per Mile: 829.3
Actual Speed: 60 mph 100 km/h vs Speedometer1: 61.5 mph 102. km/h

Speedometer Difference: - Speedometer Difference: 2.509% too fast
Diameter Difference: - Diameter Difference: 2.46%

I'm not saying these will work for sure and I don't know how these will affect vehicle dynamics but it's just an option for anyone shopping around.

Price is $400. *SOLD*
I have a buyer interested in the 225/40/18s so I am willing to split these tires up if you're interested in just grabbing the 255/40/18s.

Tires are located in Edmonton but are available for delivery on Oct 22nd. Shipping is available but to be determined during negotiations.

Thanks for the interest.
