Extended pedal shifters

Has anyone installed the extended pedal shifters on their own. I just bought mine from EAS and they told me to unplug the -ve terminal of the battery as a precaution.

I just wanted to get any feedback if someone installed them.

Removing the cable is not needed, just make sure you do not power up the ignition with the airbag removed or you will trigger an airbag light - requiring a trip to the dealer to clear.

Here's a overview of the installation, let me know if you have any questions along the way.

Easy install. Just be methodical and do not lose the little detent ball.

If it does happen - BBs happen to work as a suitable replacement.

Just installed mine yesterday and it looks and feels really good. Took 45 minutes and was piece of cake thanks to video from EAS. The only thing that took time was taking airbag off. Will post some pics soon.

As long as you can find the correct hole in the back of the steering wheel to snap out the airbag, the process is straight forward. I disconnected the battery as a precaution when I did it last year.
