What has the world come to when the Mazdaspeed 3 looks worlds better than an STI. It really and truly looks like a piece of shit. Though I've always been an Evo man myself, don't even get me started on how shitty the Evo X is also. Both of these cars reached the peak of their design last generation.

That being said, the interior looks worlds better than the old car and is finally passable. One of my main complaints when looking at Evos was that the interior looked as though it was made of fiberboard.

The black one with time attacks looks wicked...I can't wait to see what it can do against the evo x....looks more agressive and presentable than the X

Looks like it was designed more for the Euro crowd(a la Peugeot and Vauxhal). Too Ford econo-jellybeanlike for me.

As a driver of Subaru for about 7 years (first was WRX bug eye then first generation Sti) -- I take a look at this and absolutely hate the styling. That being said, although I liked my previous generation Sti much better in the styling dept -- Subaru has never been at the frontier of great styling. You drive Subaru for performance and fun factor. The Sti was an absolute hoot to drive and I miss it. It just felt like a beast on the road and looked agressive as hell. I was just too uncomfortable for me after awhile and became a bit too rice with the wing and badging. Anyhow, I'm sure the performance will be on-par if not better then previous generations. I actually think this styling looks slightly more agressive but I'm not feeling the Focus/Mazda look. It will be interesting to see how well this hatch design does in the states. I think it's going to tank. It's ashame, Sti's are incredible machines.

Man, you gotta be a teen to drive a thing like that, but hey, as long as someone enjoys it, good for them!

i know i'm a pretty big bimmer fan boy but that's nothing compared to subaru owners. i've met about 4-5 subaru guys who all told me, you know what they say about BMWs - prick inside. then they laughed hysterically while trying to prove how they can smoke me with their AWD WRX.

that said, the STI looks like shit. still, it doesn't beat that fugly monstrous b9 tribeca.
