Akra front section + OEM rear muff

Hi, i have got the whole Akra system, but i havent got time to install it yet.

however i saw this video
(http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=286781)
the SOUND is so amazing.

do u guys think it will work, if i install the front section of the akra system and keep the rear muffler, will both of them connect together well?

the akra front system contain 4 cats, will it work the same as the riss racing xpipe with hfc?

thanks guys

The Akra system only has two cats (one per cylinder bank) and two resonators AFAIK...

Also Akra won't sell front section by itself - or so I was told when I tried...

Hi Will, yes it is possible, but you need special tube adapters for that.
You should have told me before I shipped the system to you, so I would have included the adapters for you. It is right that the Akra has two cats and 2 resonators...

Hi Ralf,

Thx for the system, but i still havent got time to install it yet. so busy recently.

so i need sth else to make it connect together?

do u think it is worth it to just put the front section of the akra system on and keep the oem rear muffler, will it sound as good as the xpipe with hfc and rear muffler
thx

If you've bought the whole system, then use the whole system. The main reason would be weight savings...

The front section does not have a ball and socket fitting like the stock one, where it meets the stock rear section. You would need someone to make a piece that would mate the 2 sections up. It would end up being more trouble than it is worth, especially since you have the whole system. Akra made an antire system to sound and perform a certain way, so I would use the whole thing, and I did. You will not regret it.
