New BBS FI-R Prototype wheel

Saw this on the F8x side.

The holes do not make the wheel any weaker, per BBS.

Like the brushed. Not sure how the holes would have no effect. Weaken the wheel and maybe make them whistle at speed!

Are they only available with a single lug?
Holes may keep those wheels cool and happy, they might even whistle from happiness.

Whistling wheels

would add a totally awesome dynamic to race cars at track speeds.

Very nice and must be very light and strong, but a set of 18 inch wheels will be more than $11K i think.

Shows how good FI's are already if the holes are the only thing they can do to improve the wheel.

On a side note, FI-R, Brembo BBK, KW CS, Michelin PSS altogether has to be at least $10k per wheel well! Truly mind boggling...to me at least LOL

they should put these on the F1 cars.... might make them sound better...

You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??"
