Question Painted front grills...

Does anyone have any more pictures of the front grills with the outer trim painted to match the car color?

Im thinking about getting the IND painted ones and want to see if I should stick to all black or paint the outer trim. Any blue color M3's with this would be even more help.

Ooo and a bonus question, do you all think matte or gloss grills? My wheels are matte gunmetal

This would be interesting to see. My car is LBM.

I personally like the gloss black grills a little more because they seem like a deeper black. I plan to make my lower bumper grate shiny black to match the kidney grills, too.

Gloss grills for sure.

As for painted, I had it on mine and liked it. I sometimes think about going back to that. It's a hard call, IMO.

I'll try and see if I can dig up any photos of mine, but my car is Space Gray.

I was already on the fence with matte or gloss and you all confirmed it. I have my stock grills plasti-dipped now so its more matte and I want a more deep black

If you could dig up some old photos that would be great.

Anyone else?

I think gloss black would look better on a LMB car. It'll match the gloss back trim on the windows. I have gloss black grills on SSII and it just looks the biznaz!

Thanks for the pic. I think I'm just going all gloss black. I guess I should change my rear M3 badge to gloss too huh? It's matte now

Noob question: what's the difference in painted gloss black and the BMW edition grills?

I was told that there was no significant difference. Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but the edition grills/gilles are in black chrome, where as the gloss ones are simply painted

+1. The edition versions are black chrome, where the standard are just painted gloss black.
I have the body matching painted grill from IND, but my car is Jerez Black, so you really won't be able to pick up the difference in a picture.
