Thanks I'll talk to the paint guys about it!

Thanks man, That's my mentality always, from the first turbo I ever installed the tech told me "if you go small you will wishyou went bigger later".. and I did.. that was like 15 years ago...lol

I just got offered an amazing sponsorship with AME Wheels North America!! I am so stoked!
it just sucks the largest lips they produce are 7"... I might try to get some custom lips from wheelflip.com and use the AME's

This is how far out I decided I wanted the lip to sit.. so the flare will extend out more and up to the natural OEM quarterpanel curvature.. it'll look smoother, yet more agressive!

this was the 2nd mock up for the flare:

This is another massive project I have underway... at a stand still right now due to difficult communication with the shop where it's at but I have hi hopes for it..
Also a first ever..
My 95 S14 Silvia with a SRT10 Viper swap.
fully caged and battle ready..

viper engine is already installed and firewall was rebuilt/pushed back and new trans tunnel fabricated also.
Ill post some more pictures of that build later on also.

Thank's everyone!
I am getting close to my budget and getting nervous haha.
The metal flares were completed, they look amazing!

I am deciding on going with 14" or 14.5" rear...Got the wheel sponsorship, and they are setting me up with tire sponsors too!

Cool little collage Rai did...:

Found this picture that shows the Viper swap already in the car:

Its the oldest picture I have of it, there are better pics, but I lost my old phone with them.
when I can recover them Ill post more.
the engine tucks perfectly under the windshield, so it's sort of mid engined..

I'm anxious to see how it all comes together. I really like the smoothed out integrated factory look. I love a wider stance, just not a fan at all of the other wide body kits out there. They look like someone put huge 4x4 fender flares on an M3...

I feel you, although I will have flared the fu** out fenders, and I am a fan of using flares in a lot of cases, but I just can't accept companies charging tens of thousands of dolars for plastic flares just because BMW... the same exact flare kit with same quality for a cheaper car is only $2k for a whole set, like the FRS rocket bunny flares, and in some cases the flares are even more complex and prettier looking then the BMW flares, but just because the car originally costs more they decide they need to rip us off.

for example the S13 240sx fender flare kit, looks identical to the M3 flares, big round bubbly flares with the duck bill type spoiler and it costs $1200 or so?

Mostly I was hoping to get some mass produced wider fenders for anyone who might want them and maybe start my own brand.. we will wait till the end of the build to see if we feel it will be mass production worthy.

My biggest worry with this build is making the crazy wide fenders look good/blend in with the stock bumpers and sideskirts.... blending everything in by using custom Aero and canards and custom sideskirts that will give a gt racing but with a luxury sort of look to it...and complete the package.

I really hope the fronts have a low off set as 10.5 isn't much of a change when people are runnig 19x10 up front with ease on stock feners, looking forward to completed build sir.
