MINI Cooper S vs M3
Sorry, I had to When I made a thread about buying a Cooper S, some people gave me a lot of crap, and someone even posted a drag race between MINI and M3 (I mean, really?).. Unfortunately, that thread is closed (I have no idea why)... So here, enjoy a bone stock MINI Cooper S passing an M3

Yeah that's funny.....the ///M driver looks like he was lost at each turn. I even thought he was going to signal at the last one ......great move by the Mini. I plan to take my Cooper S to the track soon..................Phil

Thanks guys. It is all for humor. I can post another clip where I passed an M5 but that guy bought his car recently, so he was getting used to his car in the first couple laps. He passed me back later anyways

HAHA, I own a mini cooper S. Sneaky little bastards. I smoked an Audi A5 one day, they are so nimble and light you can push them without much fear. Pure, silly fun!

That M3 driver did the right thing. Most high horsepower car drivers in novice/intermediate/limited passing groups I have encountered do the wrong thing: gunning it on the straights and forming lines in turns. Soon he will blow by most track cars.
Minis rock. |

Pacific Raceways is a pretty good and very technical track. Here is my 2nd session of the day where you can see the whole track.
The last (at least for me) event of this year will be on Sep 29th, and before then I will have some of the mods installed such as coilovers, camber plates and maybe a front splitter I will still be on stock tires probably (allweather run flats) since the winter will be here soon anyways. @w00tw00t, you should come to the Sep 29th one.
