New Owner

Hi everyone -

Just picked her up from California and drove the PCH back up here to Seattle a few weeks ago. It's my first BMW and I'm very happy so far

Thought I'd stop by and say hello. I'm active on the S2ki forum (my other car is an 05 S2000). I needed something more "practical" so I got this as well.

Thanks all. The trick will be keeping it stock until the warranty expires.

The S2000 is pretty heavily modified, around 350 horsepower to the wheels with the supercharger.

Congrats. What color interior?

How long was that drive up the PCH? I'm flying down to CA to get my M3 this weekend and was planning on taking the PCH for part of the drive.

Black Novillo interior with carbon trim.

It would take 2 full days of driving (or 1/2 day, full day, 1/2 day as I did it) from LA. I believe it was a bit over 1000 miles. I took HWY 1/ HWY 101 all the way up to Grant's Pass where I cut over to I-5.

If the weather is rainy as it can be this time of year, you may not find the detour worth it. I lucked out and got some great driving in. Second car I've purchased and drove up from CA this way. Note that on Grant's Pass it is possible there will be snow there now. At the very least, it will be below freezing and a bit slick.
