Perhaps without prejudice sir, you should invest sometime in fixing the landscape around your property, looks like those interlocking could be replaced before mother earth takes over. Here we have restrictive deeds that prohibit home owners letting there property's devalue

M3 hibernates from end of November 'til end of March.

Usually drive diesel Ford Excursion. It was spewing coolant all over driveway on Friday, so I used the wife's 2009 X5 Diesel to tow the snowmobile trailer this weekend. The short wheelbase made it a little twitchy, but it certainly had enough power.

6.0L in the Excursion?Triton Prestige trailer?

I was wondering how well an X5 would haul a trailer in winter.I have used F150's for the last 6 years with good results in hauling 4 place trailers.

6.0L in the Explosion. I sometimes forget the trailer's behind it. The Excursion weighs so much and has a lot of power and therefore makes it the perfect tow vehicle. Unfortunately it needs repairing every half an hour and I will end up replacing it soon.

I thought about Mercedes GL350 diesel, but after towing with the X5 I don't think it would be a long term solution. It would work, but how long it would last is a different story. Therefore, it looks like I be testing the F-250 with the new 6.7L engine due in the spring.

It is a Triton trailer and the aluminum frame makes it nice and light. I either use it for sleds or a tracked Argo.

I have used an F-150 a couple of times and they pull great, just use a hell of a lot of fuel doing it.

I had a 22' Triton Prestige and I used my 04 f150 and got about 11.5 mpg imperial towing at 120kph and when I used a F350 with a 6.4 still got about the same milege. The picture is at Deals Gap in North Carolina after towing 6 sport bikes down for a week of play. The new 6.7 looks like it should be a good engine, but still much more emmision control stuff including urea injection.

2011.75 E90 M3  [10.00]
Spotted this guy this morning on the DVP North... fairly nice winter ride I'd say, he shames you guys that store your lowly M3s for the winter.

Also saw another one on Saturday aft on the 404 near Steeles, can't beat cruising in your bright orange Gallardo in late Jan/early Feb. Must be nice.
