Single clutch semi-auto vs dual?

I saw a show on the aventador from lambo and I see they continue to use the single clutch semi-autos where virtually every other car is doing dual clutch. Both are 7 speed and the aventador does 50ms shifts which all sounds good but is there any utility in a dual clutch if the speed of the single clutch is already as fast (at 50ms) or faster than the dual?

Seems like it would actually be quicker with single clutch to downshift 2 gears which I suspect is slower in dual given how the clutches work
