Slippin' and slidin' at Buttonwillow in the rain -Because E36 M3 race car - Pics/Vids
Yet another track day. This time, I was back at Buttonwillow, but my first wet track day. And oh man, what a day...
Due to the rain and my sub-par tires, I wasn't able to post any good times, so I tried to work on car control and just have fun. Enjoy the photos AND videos. Best parts of the day: Having some fun with a 997.2 GT3RS: |

Brandon, do you have a list of mods that you have done to your car ? specifically suspension ? I have done the bushings/springs/shocks/lighter wheels but still doesn't look as planted as ur car around the corners (looking at dry photos). I've had hankook RS3s during summer and they were GRIPPY as hell, but any tiny drop of water would send that thing slideeewayzzz
Awesome driving btw ! |

Ground control track schools with 450/550 I think, Ground control camber plates (-3 front, -2 rear,) UUC 29mm front sway, NO rear sway, Poly FCABs, OEM RTABs, SPC rear camber arms, a 4 pt bolt in cage (really does make a difference).

I'd reccomend getting some good street tires (Dunlop SS Z1s or Hankook RS3s and going through AT LEAST one whole set of those to learn on before you jump to R-Comps. They're really a whole new ballgame, and will actually hold your learning curve back if you're not advanced enough for them.
I waited a long time before I finally jumped to them. I'm now starting to make the final jump from R-Comps to full slicks now. |

Looks like fun.... as long as you keep all four on the pavement!
I'll be there this Friday and I'm hoping the sunny weather predictions are correct. |

Not an M3.
Not an E90. Just here to support my boyfriend being a badass at the track.
