Left a 09 C350 for my 09 E92 M3. Can't imagine going the other way. Can't imagine at all. I can't figure out the logic on this at all. Not meaning to be rude, just can't figure this out.

seemingly the OP is like most people in that he isnt really asking a question, he is asking people to agree with him to make him feel better about his decision... sort of like when your gf/wife asks you if you like her new shoes....hint, the answer is yes

What did you think of the 09 c350? Did you have a Multimedia package?

It was a nice commuter, but I actually preferred the 2005 C230 Kompressor sedan I had before it. As good gas milage, actually felt "sportier" and a much better price point / value. If you buy an 09 C350 at 35-40ish, to "save" for an E93 M3, I agree with the other commenters, not a good value. Pick up a 04/05 330i or a C230 kompressor for like 20k. The benz's are great, my wife still rolls one (CLS550) for hauling the two little ones, but apples and oranges to BMW. I guess it just depends on your modivator... |

Hmmm?? Can't say I see how the numbers are gonna work out in your favor but...
Consider maintenance, warranty (with the possibility of the car being a lemon), tires, fuel, payments w/tax and the depreciation of the Merc. If you figure that the amount of money you'd loose in a year by getting the Merc is substantially less than the depreciation of an +09E93, then go for it, you'd still be on top. I would recommend if you could save more $$ by getting another cheaper in-between car that you could tolerate I would consider that. |

This thread is a main reason as to why the whole US economy is in the crapper. I mean, come on. You sell a perfectly good, brand new E92 M3 to get into a C350? Are you nucking futs? You claim to make money? I call BS. Then you say you only expect to lose 3-4k when you turn around and sell it in 6 months? Grow a friggin brain, or better yet, learn some common sense. If you originally wanted the E93, why didn't you just get an E93 to begin with?
I'm glad its not my tax dollars that'll be bailing you out. |

1st car was fully loaded c350
2nd was dinan m3 i never thought i'd be saying this but i like my c350 a lot more than my m3.. it's just so comfortable and the sound system was a lot nicer and tbh.. i think merc makes a lot better quality cars than bmw or audi not saying bmw's are bad my m3 was a hell of a fun car but build quality seemed cheap compared to even my c350 and our family's other mercs p.s. hello to all you ignorant pricks about to smash on my comment |

My wife has a C350 and hates it. It's slow, soft and not built very well. She bought it as a compromise for a car she could share with her 87yo mom, who has since passed away.
She can't wait to get rid of it. Luckily we got it for $5k under invoice, so should be able to get out of it fairly easily, even though it was leased. |

I heard the GTR is more comfortable than the M3 with better stereo and better built quality. I'm sure you'll love it.
