CCW 18" BBK-Friendly C14 Quick Take...
Facts
Manufacturing time: 2 weeks Total lead time: 3 weeks Price: mid-$2k Sizes: 18x9.5 ET23 / 18x10.5 ET28 (CCW can build to any size/offset you spec) Tires: 265/35/18 / 295/30/18 AD08 Finish: brushed black anodized BBK friendly: yes (380mm) Quick Take Got these after some long deliberation... Forged, reasonable price, good feedback, pretty design, and BBK friendly. The finish is a machined anodized black which shows the machining traces. The anodized color is not as dark and pretty as painted HREs I had but these are meant for the track anyway. C14 does not accommodate center caps due to machined out center mass for weight savings. Only complaint so far is one front tire was mounted in the reversed direction (CCW refunded me for the re-mount) We'll see how these do in the long run... more pictures next week. |

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

So these are about the price of the Advan RS but forged and you don't have to wait 2 months. Nice.

Not like you got some bad wheels. I know you searched around for a while.I am strongly considering the RS vs. V2's in 18" but this is definitely another strong candidate. I now they have a great rep, but I don't see any mention of any certification.
The CCW website says "starting at $2,800" so I'm surprised OP was able to get them around mid $2000... unless $2,800 is mid $2000? Can't wait for pics.

I don't know if you knew about these before I told you about them, but I would think that I steered you a little in the right direction I hope you enjoy them. I ordered my C10s last week!
