Buying Tires online, buyer beware
Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that if you buy tires online and have them delivered to your house, you must inspect the tire once it's delivered, do not sign the delivery form until you have inspected the tire.
My story, Tire arrived and when I took it for installation, my tire guy says the sidewall was damaged and cannot hold air. I can see the damage but it was very hard to notice unless you know what you're looking for. My tire guy said it was damaged likely 0when someone attempted to mount the tire and it wasn't him. I called the seller and he said it wasn't him who damanged it, even though I said the damage was consistent with someone trying to mount the tire. I called UPS and they said when you sign the delivery form, it acknowledges your package was delivered with no damage to packaging (not appliable)or to item. Just inspect your tires before you sign over, otherwise you're in my mess... |

just to be clear. these are USED tires right? not new tires that you ordered from tire rack or something.
