M3 on the move:) Pics from Infineon & Thunderhill

Here are a few pics from Infineon on Thursday and Thunderhill from the weekend(on page 2).

Will post more about the exhaust note ( awesome!) and about the car itself again.

Enjoy!

Updated: Here is a vid of my car at Infineon taken by sfbimmer13 (Rupert) from our track day. Car sounds awesome! Great feedback on the Eisenmann exhaust! Love the last clip of the vid as well (2:00). Thanks again Rupert!

Seeing the M3 next to your (hiding behind blue tape), do you have clearbra or some other type of protection on your car?
I'm off next week to the Monterey Historics.

Awesome photos. I just had custom wrap on bumper, hood and fenders. How did they fare on the track day? Any damage to the film?

This is where may car sat today getting the clear bra treatment in preperation for the track. Still have another 600 miles before breakin.

The Premier guys in Fremont are TOP NOTCH. I will post my experiences later on a different thread. But if you live in the CA Bay Area, I highly recommend them.

I'm just about to order my front bumper, bonnet and wings. What is the difference between custom wrap and off the shelf pattern?

The shelf pattern will only cover about 28 inches of your bonnet and fenders. The bumper will also be pre-cut so you will see lines especially near the inlets. Custom wrap will wrap the complete bonnet and fenders and use 1 piece for the bumper. Basically, you can't tell you had anything done and you get more protection.

DJ9, I follow your track day posts and your photos. I have yet to take my car to the track but each of your posts makes me more excited to take to the track. As always awesome pics! Also if you are tracking your car constantly are you considering a dedicated track wheel and tire set. If I remember correctly your outer edges of your tires were wearing badly.

Space grey on the track look so stealthy! WOW
One would have hard time seeing you in their rearview mirrors; until they spot the helmet.
