Talking Picked up ED M!

Just picked up my M at the Welt and let me just say, the entire experience has been first class and I cant recommend this option enough to people who have a couple of days to spare.

Right now Im sitting in the lounge enjoying some snacks and should be off to the factory tour in about 20 mins (no cameras allowed!). I know this thread is worthless without pics, but I currently dont have access to a computer that lets me upload pictures, maybe a little later, after i do some driving!

Also, getting around town using the U Bhan has been a revelation for me that public transportation works great, if it is executed correctly. Love it!

What? No Pics? You must be the only guy in the civilized world without a camera equipped, 3g capable, wireless phone.

Congrats on your new ride! Have fun on your trip.

Wow, that was a long tour. Very interesting watching E90s and E91s getting put together soup to nuts. Also saw M V8s getting put together, which was cool, wish i was allowed to take pictures there (they apparently produce the engines in munich and assemble the M cars elsewhere).

I picked up a 2009 that i ordered in July. The 2.9% financing was too good to pass up at the time (now 0.9% is even better, which was the ultimate rate I recieved).

Off to the BMW museum for maybe an hour then to the german countryside! Later tonight, Oktoberfest!

Congrats! Enjoy it all and take care on the Autobahn. I am thinking of doing the same thing next spring. Are you planning to have the first M service at 1200 miles done in Europe? If so, how are you arranging for that to get done?

So true. I just picked up my M from my ED in July and we are already planning the next trip. Truly an awesome experience....not to mention better pricing.
