Did my maintenance work today. Swapped over to RS3's, flushed the brake fluid, and topped off the fluids. Add that to the new windshield, rotors, motor mounts, power steering canister, and tranny mounts in December, I think the E36 is ready to hit the track for 2013!!!

Shit! I just gouged the crap out of one of my NT01s. And they were just getting really sticky! So its two new tires for me. Now one end of my car will be stickier than the other.

I was going to use a heat gun and cut pieces of rubber from the other tires and melt it in. Kind of like how docs use ligaments from one joint to fix another one.

No, glue's too flimsy. Use a 10-penny nail gun.

Phil,

Can I scan and email the tech and waiver to you? I will likely forget or lose it if I don't. My tech is good except for a massive chunk missing out of two of my NT01s. I'm going to fill it in to 4/32s with electrical tape. Your form says 3/32...never said it had to be all rubber!

For all...I'm the third person who's NT01s got ripped up like that at MSR Houston...be careful going off the racing line if you got them.

I didn't chunk an NT01, but I have one with significantly less tread than the other 3

Time to dial it back 1/10 and save those tires. Although, I realize that's harder said than done!

I was doing pretty good most of the weekend until I came on track in the middle of the last yellow session. Then I saw Zach in my rear view...then it was on. I think 1:45s are getting too costly for me

Forgot...I won't be doing the karts in the morning since my daughter broke both of her wrists. Hard to drive with a cast on each arm. She's as well as I are pretty disappointed.

Just a note. I have AAA in case anyone needs a tow. It was reserved for my 330 but that still has a top speed of...how fast can I push it?
