Most of you guys know little about brand history across the board so let me educate you. The UR-Quattro is the grandaddy of all rally cross. When Audi showed up with that thing, they decimated the competition for years until weight penalties were added, AWD was adopted elsewhere, turbocharging, etc. The Evo and the STi are what they are today because of the original Quattro. It was truly a monumental achievement for Audi and one that not many people know about.

The new one models itself a lot after the original one, just like all the other rally cars do to some extent to this day.

The other question is will america get it. I was ready to buy the TT-RS...not available what a downer. No a5 sportback or whatever they call it.
