This seems to be the case, Xcellere. You got me all worried, since my car has been 112 since Monday. The dealer was able to update my order in the system. They confirm that 150 is the cutoff for changes.

BTW, I was wondering if could clarify something for me. My dealer tells me he has 22 people in front of me. But after putting in my order the requested production date is week 10, which means I should get it in the middle of April. With an avg. allocation of 5-6 per dealer, doesn't this seem too early considering that many people in front of me? Or is the requested production date for a status 047 a very soft date?

I think the issue is those 22 in front of you get very soft when asked to place an order. This is frustrating to dealers, for sure. I got on my dealer's list at #9 27 months ago (10/05). But, guess what? When my dealer got its first allocation in mid-December '07 I jumped to #1 because everyone else either was waiting for the sedan, waiting for DCT, or suffering with the economy. Likely you are experiencing the same thing. The date can be a little soft, but not too much.

Well, when he told me there were 22 people in front of me it sounded like 22 people who have actually ordered. When I asked him what colors did they order he had a stack of print outs in front of him with all their options, including color codes etc. I'm hoping you're right and what he tells me (mid-to-late April) is right.

Hopefully, my order will be moving to 150 status next week (Week 6 build)! That would put it at the West Coast just around the launch date--how convenient!
