Just modify the stock unit. There are a number of threads on here and I just did mine. $250 worth of cutting/welding and sounds great.

Def an exhaust, there are plenty of reasonable priced ones out there.

I agree these are 2 great exhaust but he said he didn't want to spend much and these are pricey exhausts.

I say go for it too. I just picked up the fabspeed maxflo exhaust from this forum in the for sale section. I got it used for about a grand including shipping. I love the sound it is was relatively cheap (as far as M3 exhaust are concerned).

Just get an exhaust. It's a shame to hide that wonderful V8 sound. You'll only live once.

You should get Remus Race exhaust sounds good, looks good, and price is pretty good. I recommend you buy it brand new or you can buy any other used exhaust in this section

Good luck

Yes get an exhaust but not if it's only to make noise.

I'd recommend the full Akrapovic Evolution if you can find a deal on a used system.. Well worth it!

No one ever recommends tubi. Sounds so good, was my second choice behind Akra.

Tubi sounds totally amazing on these cars. It's completely different to the majority of the exhausts out there which are just plain loud and raspy. Any idiot can make an M3 loud and sound good.

We also do a full exhaust which only really gets mentioned in the UK which is again very different and is made to a very very high standard.

Once we are done with a few things we are working on we will delve much deeper into exhausts. More fact based stuff and real comparisons of what makes a good quality product rather than what makes the best exhaust based on the best marketing.
