What is this part (PICS) - diagnosing noise in front susp

hey gents,

trying to figure out a rotational clicking that i'm getting up front. i've had the wheel off and there are no visual issues on the wheel or around the caliper / braking system.

however, while in there i saw this piece was a little bent. I've gone to the diagrams on real OEM but cant figure out what it is and if it could be the culprit. this is front driver side on a Canadian car that has been undercoated

any guidance appreciated.

i'm probably barking up the wrong tree with this. looks like it is supposed to be bent.

That's a xenon-leveler. It controls the headlight level system.

From the looks of your sway bar link. Your shock leaked its fluid and its internally bad. Maybe that's were the noise is coming from

that's undercoating and odd lighting. the noise is not consistent with a strut that blew a seal... i've gone through that many times on previous cars.

the noise comes and goes now... probably something stuck in the rotor or caliper...

just one of those annoying things i guess.
