Opinion of 18" OEM in Hyper Black?

I'm looking for some winter wheels in 18" and came across some in hyper black. What is your opinion of these on a jerez black sedan?

They're for winter use btw, so I would keep the 19's as well.

I'm in B Hills as well, maple + gilbert right across from Erhard. My wife thinks its more than just coincidence we can walk to the BMW dealer...

Ok Mojo, I'm not familiar with the color "hyper black" so don't laugh at me but, why do the wheels in the picture look so shiny and so - well - not black?

Why not some 18" M3 OEMs in the standard gun metal color? I've seen them on a black M3 and they look absolutely menacing.

I paid $2000cdn + tax for those wheels and dunlop 3D winters, mounted and balanced.

I think the OEM bmw 18s would cost nearly that much for just rims!

Those are based on the European 18s, btw. I think the US ones look much better. I would go with regular silver OEM US 18s.

Hyper black is a polished black.

Silver? The OEM US 18's are a dark grey/gunmetal.

That would be my first choice but these are less than half the price of the OEM wheels.

Yeah, they're ok. But for the price and winter use its something different than the silver 19's. My first choice would be the OEM 18's finish however not an option in my budget.
