Is there a huge difference between M3 Coupe and Sedan?
I'm always looking to upgrade to the M3. I love the way both the sedan and coupe look but I was wondering if there is a noticeable drivability difference between the two. Obviously weight and center of gravity change between the two but is it drastic or subtle?

Yes, the sedan looks better.
Kidding!

Yes, the sedan performs amazingly around the track. As others have said, most cannot tell the performance difference of the E92 vs. E90 on the track much less in everyday city driving. If the M3 is your primary car then maybe the E90 as you can easily have more room for passengers and hauling, but if you already have another car then the E92 may be a better match.

Sedan seats 5 people. With a wife and 3 kids thats perfect for us. And no there is no real difference. If anything sedan might perform better. Less over hand (shorter). Weight about 25lbs if im not mistaken.

i don't like the sedan doors... too short/small
and with the driver window down, too much air hits your face... I've had an e90 loaner for the past week and i can't put the window down all the way....

Ahh sedan noob... Crack the back windows a bit, takes care of the "in the face" airflow...

Sedan has better braking. ...When all four doors are open!
Maverick: I'll hit the brakes, he'll fly right by. Both are great!

Most can't tell a real difference. However, with that said, every person who's had an E92 or driven one says that my E90 feels a little tighter in hard corners on back roads.
I've said this before, and also read it before. But you really, really have to even know what you're looking for to even notice a difference. So for every day purposes, no, you probably won't notice anything different, unless you're really gettin' on it.
