High temp paint/enamel?

Hi all,

I had a second oem exhaust modified with the removal of the perforated pipes, and I'd like to refinish it in matte black before swapping it. Any recommendations? I've heard positive and negative remarks regarding VHT. I'd like to hear from the guys who have first hand experience with this.

Thanks!

I used black BBQ grill paint on my OEM exhaust and it held up for years (including MN winters). Clean it well, scuff and spray away with the rattle can.

Is this the over the counter spray can that I can buy at Advance? If so, I heard that it smells terribly for weeks and that it can flake off? Did you spray the exhaust, mounted it and started driving? Or did you follow some sort of process/instructions? Thanks!

Nice! Thanks! Miss the finish matte and is this sold at Home Depot or Lowes?
