NE1 know this E90 M3 at Momentum BMW

I'm interested in this car. From the pictures I see the larger DCT paddles, different brakes, and (I have no idea) gauge in the left vent. Shirley this has to be someone here.

http://www.momentumbmw.net/used/BMW/...b1ba8ff4bc.htm

EDIT: Never mind I just saw the carfax and it's from OH so it's not a local car.

I believe the gauge on the left is a readout for forced induction cars (e.g. boost/afr/temp gauge), and it has RED front brake calipers... could be Brembo/Stoptech front BBK or just painted OEM calipers (doubtful), it seems to me some type of mod.

Other than that she is beautiful and that color for sedan is rare. I would want to talk to the owner it was certainly modded and maybe parted out and possibly even supercharged!!!

Honestly, I would never buy a presupercharged (esp. if I were staying N/A) car unless I was looking to buy a car with a supercharger already installed. Find more info and/or talk to the seller (owner would be better as he would know its modding history, and see what they ADMIT

I wouldn't deal with Momentum. Go Advantage or BMW North.

For real? I'd only rock that to read boost but to each their own. I can't comment on the need/convenience using it on the track so pardon my ignorance if its useful in that scenario for an N/A car (Id go analog gauges/pod).

But, the BBK (hopefully not caliper covers ) and extended paddles/boost gauge does make her a likely previously S/C'd car to me.

To the OP… Good luck, and do your due diligence on the car. Talk to the owner. I for one would NOT buy a car if I couldn't have a friendly chat with the owner, nor would I buy it from a dealer and not privately for that matter.

Thanks all. I'm not getting a good feeling about this car. I agree that why would someone go through the trouble of installing an A/F meter if it wasn't boosted. I could be wrong but I haven't gotten any contact about the car. No rush.

Ok......here's what I have. The car definitely has a BBK and some wheel studs. However the car is really clean and runs great. Wheel studs don't look "cool" so one might suspect they're there for a legit reason. SC is still a mystery but vent gauge and wheel studs should answer your questions. Now a tracked car is not all bad. Remember, track rats performance more maintenance than the average person. The average "Joe or Jane" will never maintain their car to the level of a track person...............Phil

that BBK doesn't look like one of the bigger names (Brembo, Stoptech, AP, Alcon, Rotora, Wilwood, etc.) - they don't even look like K-sport

Actually installing the P3vent gauge is really easy...basically it reads whatever the OBD2 port provides. I had it on my old 1M and while i had it hooked up to the boost, i mostly used it for water temp and oil temp. Friend bought mine and he monitoed egt.

I thought about getting the same gauge for my non boosted e46, but turns out i could get all the info i wanted (on 1 screen) on my aim solo dl.

Clean car though!

That's a RB (racing brake) bbk. Doesnt seem like there were too many on here, so might help narrow down the owner. It had to be a member here right

actually, that may not be a boost gauge.... rather it may be digital engine temp gauge... with an LED bar above the numbers.

from the pics, the car looks nice. run a carfax. probably just bought at auction... but December is a great time to get a deal as the dealers want to move vehicles. gonna be a year older in a month. go for it!!!

It's been sold already. Some quick research will tell you that it's probably Raucky2000's car.
