It's typical buyer's remorse. It usually goes away, as you are starting to feel!

I honestly felt the same way too, bcoz I parted with my old e320 the day before I got my e90, and the separation was hard for me to take.
My E90 was saying "hey look, I can go 100mph with ease", and "close your eyes, I got something for you, while she pops her hood to rev that 217hp engine".
I was indifferent to my E90, and it wasnt fair.
She persisted to show me she was worth it, each time i crank her up, the gauges display her love, with her flat sensor monitor, onboard oil level indicator, and a host of other things that never sease to amaze me.
Over time, i slowly undress her, by removing her 325i label, and bought her a charming 28kt rear end spoiler, that now she proudly wears, and doesnt ever want to take off.
Top it off, I took off her stiff runflat shoes, and made her wear Michelins performance for summer and winter.
And you know wat I found out? this new E90 of mine is here to stay, for we both get along now.
She reciprocates tenfolds to the amount of love and tender care I give her.

I was excited when I ordered it
I was excited when I saw it
I was excited when I collected it in July
I was excited when I drove it yet again today, just ike every day since I started driving the car.

Simply magnificent!

Sometimes dreams and fantasies are better than reality. That's why as I have gotten older I've come to realize that it's not always the attainment of the goal or dream that we should always live for, but the journey that takes us there.

I loved it the day I drove it off the lot but couldn't believe how much money I just spent. Not to mention how much I still owed.

Yesterday I came home after being gone for a couple of months and took the cover off. I thought to myself "god damn, that's a nice car" and drove around Hollywood and the west side for a while to get rid of the old gas.

Now that I owe less I think I love the car even more.

The new e90 is no slouch, but I wouldn't be deluded into thinking it will smoke the new Mustang GT. Either the Mustang guy was breaking his car in, taking it easy, or he was in the V6 Stang, not the 300-HP 4.6L V8 GT that Automobile Magazine records at 5.6 secs for 0-60. That's a half second quicker to 60 mph and about four to five car lengths ahead.

Well stated KSFROGMAN. Dead on the mark. The journey of a thousand miles is not about mile marker 1000 but markers 0 to 999. I am REALLY enjoying the wait, feel like a 12 year old before Christmas. Been a LONG time since I've had this feeling.

p.s., although the 4.6L V-8 Mustang Engine is built in Michigan, the 4.0-liter 60-degree Mustang V6 is manufactured in Cologne, Germany. Bet you didn't know that.

Say Moondog, when did you order your car? I'm waiting for mine too!

I ordered mine on 11/18, production started on 11/22 and completed on 11/29/05. It's been at port since 12/01 and I'm hoping it's made it onto the ship. My dealer guy is probably getting sick of me calling him every day.

you're right. i was gonna state that it probably wasnt a v8 but i figured you guys would know that already. There's no way i coulda beaten a Stang GT. That thing's got 320hp and 300lbs torque under the hood. It's a beast!!!
