Sounds like fun to me. Need to drill out existing 4 rivets per tip, then new tip can be installed with 4 new rivets (which should have been included from cyba). What's needed is the rivet gun and general know-how that RedBaron provides.

How did the exhausts turn out sound-wise?

Pics of the finished products?

Mine was only half the perforated mod. It's started out almost just like stock but has gotten a bit louder. I'm happy with it and my wife hasn't complained she only said she needs to turn up the radio a bit more now.

There are some pics on the Zury FB page but really it's nothing different from the many pics of the OEM mod on this site.

That's Charles down in Richmond. Banned because he's too chill about shipping out things in a timely manner.

The other method is often called the ACM Exhaust Mod. Should be lots of info if you search on that. It bypasses the center section.

So finally got my perforated-type oem modded exhaust (from Red_Baron) installed yesterday with titanium blue CYBA tips. Looks/sounds great. Little louder than I expected but not intrusive and nice deep growl. Overall very happy with it. Thanks Red Baron and bmwtech13!!

Sorry to resurrect a fading thread, but I've now got an "09 e90 M3 and am looking to do the OEM mod. What's the going rate in this area for this mod? I had one quote for $450 and one for $650. Obviously, I'm gonna go for the less expensive shop (which has been mentioned in this thread), but my question is whether this is a good, average price. Thanks in advance.
