Doing my plugs without a coil puller tool and found this to be really easy. Even got this 'topped' coil out with ease. In skydiving we call them "pull up cords" and use them to pack parachutes. It's just a length of webbing. The one I used was actually a Gucci bag tie.
IMHO better than a hanger as it's not metal, won't scratch, and can get leverage around a bends. |

It's funny to me how the biggest obstacles are little "puzzles" of angles and clearance. #8 is easy to switch but hard to properly torque. Reinserting the coil on #7 is a little tricky. And then there's good ole #1, I mean c'mon. I feel like there was one guy during the final build proof that was gonna say something about clearance, but he was sick that day.
"Clearance" such a poignant word. |

Yeah, that ones a pita. I have the swivel plug socket, a universal joint, and a 6" extension. Still gotta hold the wire bundle to one side while bracing the extension. In hindsight I'll take off the strut brace for a little more space. 🤷*♂️
