loud clunking while turning
A light bulb just came on in my head yesterday. I always had this loud clunking noise while turning at full lock and going over pot holes. I had my car under a lift many times and can never find anything wrong. Can it be the wheel axles hitting my sway bar? I did space them correctly when I installed the sway bar while the wheels where at a full drop. Does the bouncing of the wheel during a pothole make it go past the point of a full drop. Any of you guys experience this too? The car drives absolutely fine other than this.

The car is not lowered and the sound was with both my stock and the dinan bar afterwards.

When my sway bar links were bad, I heard clunking when turning. It was pretty much when the weight was shifted from one side to the other.
There's no front axle, it's a RWD vehicle |

After you check the sway bar end links for proper torque, check the sway bar brackets. While you're at it, grease the sway bar bushings if they are polyurethane.
Might also check the front braces in the engine compartment. The bolts/nuts were 1/8 turn from tight on mine after 41k miles.
