weight is significant. i would estimate the weight difference could be almost 200 lbs. people often dismiss it, but it is simply because they don't know. unlike other performance mods, less weight helps you do everything (accelerate, turn, brake) better.

i think the lust for these zero option cars is because we didn't really get a lightweight version. nothing about the car is really going to age, while those of us that got parking sensors and navigation get to see them become dated (they are already old tech). the rest of the car remains highly desirable and enjoyable- and less weight!
if i was going to do it again, i'd go for a dct stripper.
