West End Alignment is the only place I've ever taken my cars to.

On a related note, I saw EAS take delivery of some heavy duty caster/camber gauges last week. I believe they're getting into the alignment business soon.

Good move for them IMO. They installed my suspension but couldn't do my alignment.

I've been to many shops for alignment. West end, evasive, platte forme and R's tuning. I'd have to say that R's is hands down the best for my application of street and track
Driving!

Leo and Ricky will take care of you.

Darin at WE work is impeccable. But he is too far from where I live and the wait is usually rediculous. Another alternative is Albert at TWS. I've been going there the last few years and he does all my work, plus hes only 2 minutes from my office.

Just go to a legit alignment place. The new equipment is pretty much stupid proof.

What is the best way to contact The R's tuning? I need an alignment done. I see their facebook page but no phone number? I google'd and all the numbers I found, I called and either were disconnected or no one answered. Thanks folks.

I've tried 3 of the best places in SoCal , let me give you my insight

1. Long tran
I'm actually surprised, they use a place up the street from them I believe. My car handles so good right now so solid overall. I'm running this alignment now and LOVING it.

2. Westend
Darren def knows his stuff, however it's a pain in the ass getting an appointment with him. I equally felt the same performance using Ltbmw and westend. However it's rated at number two because of distance from me and getting an appointment

3. Malek
I've read a lot of great reviews about his alignment skills however for me it wasn't as great as I expected. The car felt lose and didn't have as much grip. I drove 55 miles which was a pain in the ass. I felt very disconnected with the car and on the freeway it was pulling to the left. I didnt want to drive 55 miles to get it fixed.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the input. Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with any of the 3 you mentioned. A few members I know have had success with The R's tuning which was why I asked and wanted to give them a shot. I actually drive an e46 M3. No offense but I don't want to drive way up to torrence or gardena wherever Westend is or where Long dwells (and I'm sure it's top notch) just for an alignment. Then suppose something feels funny or I need it fixed, boom way the hell back up there.

I suppose I should mention I live in Irvine.

Roman,

We align the car to how you specify for your driving habits. As always, all alignments have a warranty and you could have brought it back.

At the end of the day, we want to set up the car best for you. I will still honor the warranty even though it was a while ago. Feel free to come on down.

Having had alignments done at both West End and MRF within the last year, I have to recommend Malek at MRF Engineering.

I don't want to start a flame war, and get caught in the middle of anything, but unfortunately, West End did not do a good job on my first alignment. I can only speak for myself based on my experience, but I cannot recommend West End over MRF. Darin has definitely earned his reputation, and I'm confident that the misalignment on my car was just a one time thing, a freak accident or something, but between the two, especially for an M3, I'd recommend MRF.

Malek went above and beyond to explain everything to me, then find out exactly what I wanted, and also gave me a ride in his M to give me a better idea of what his performance alignment is all about. He knows our cars like the back of his hand, and his knowledge and skill definitely show.

To clarify, I'm just expressing my opinion, and this is not a criticism of Darin, West End, or anyone who prefers him. I'm just relating my experience, and I have no doubt West End will continue to provide great alignments for all those who go there.

Malek ,

First things first I want to make it clear to the forum that malek is one of the nicest most welcoming guys I've dealt with. He definitely knows the m3. I'm sure without a doubt that if I brought the car back you would fix everything. I've read and keep reading reviews about your work all the time here and I don't think anyone has said something negative. I do appreciate you working on my car , I will try to stop by sometime.

Took my car to Malek at MRF about a week ago. He setup my e46 m3 exactly how I wanted. Very professional with his work, shop is spotless. So far the car handles great. He helped me with a rubbing issue and was able to fit me in without hesitation. I will report back after I test the car out on the track. If you are in socal feel free to pm him, he will take care of your alignment needs.
