Cornell alum here as well. That bridge is really not that much of a threat because it's usually too damn cold out to walk all the way there

I agree. Plenty of evidence suggests that after a cetain point that meets basic necessities, further increases in wealth have no impact on wellbeing or happiness

ah hell, bunch of different reasons. True I started school with that intention, but the farther I got into it the more I realized that the reality of the profession was not what I truly wanted out of it. That is, I wanted to go into medicine to help the sick, but too much of it nowadays (in this country at least) seemed to be about beuracracy and big business. That and malpractice insurance, lol I wanted the medicine, not the BS. Luckily for me, my interests in biology weren't limited to human phisiology, and the latter part of my undergrad career I got interested in environmental science.

I won't hold anything against the Cornell alum around here... too bad that they couldn't go to a real ivy league institution.

I'm a recent Brown University grad, BA in Business Economics.

EDIT: Saturday, Oct 21, 1PM in Providence... Ivy League Champs Brown Bears take on Cornell... prepare to be beat!!!

Ouch, some rivalry here... I'll tell you what, You guys get your best lacrosse guys and tell them to play us... Don't wimp out!! lol

I know Cornell/Brown is Div 1AA (i was recruited for football), but chose lax... and dropped it due to personal issues...

Regardless, great schools!
