birdpoop etching

bird pooped on my car...cleaned it off with some quick detailer
then washed my car
waxed it
and then quick detailed that spot again
still some etching there
what is the best way to get rid of it detailing experts?

hmm if claying doesnt work it may have etched into your paint...

in this case, i would recommend a light polish such as PO85RD

would the p21s bodywork cleanser polish work? im asking because i have this already but if not i can get the other stuff
definently need to try to clay bar it but since i already waxed it will i have to wait till my next wash to clay or can i just lubricate that area clay it and rewax?

a paint cleaner like the one you mentioned might work

if you do use it and/or clay the area, you will need to wax that area again

p21s did not work for me and the poop was there for less than 24 hours. trying clay....

Clay most likely will not remove the paint damage that the bird poop has etched into your paint. Clay only removes above surface contaminants, anything that has bit into the top coat in not removable with clay.

Depending on the severity of the etching, take the least aggresive approach to a cleaner/polish first. Then work up to more aggressive if the least fails to remove the stain.

Due to the acidity that these birds have in their digestive systems to eat just about anything, the results are sometimes extensive paint damage from this dropping. Sometimes color sanding may be even necessary to completely remove the defect, and then polish it up.........

But again, take the least aggressive approach first always!
