Need replacement rear tires
So I was driving through the streets of dc over the weekend and definetly hit my back left tire on the curb and busted my back left tire...
The car is at 25,000 miles anyways..so it's time for new tires eitherway. I'm looking for a advice on a good place to get new tires at a reasonable price... I have the OEM 18's on the M3 coupe. What's recommended in the way brand and a reasonable price, etc. Thanks.. |

Hankooks are without a doubt the best tire available dollar for dollar. And this goes for all performance catagories. I have been using Hankook Icebears for the past 5 winters on my BMW's (including my M3) and they wear great, are quite, good in snow and also do not give up too much in dry. I just changed out the stock Continentals on my wifes Range Rover Sport with Hankook RH07's and they are 1000x better. Way better ride, very quiet and much better traction. On top of all this, I find the top Hankooks to usually be almost half the price of the top Michelin or Bridgestones available. I would not hesitate changing out the PS2's with the V12's and will most likely go that rout when my PS2's wear out. Oh and just so you know...Michelin is a part owner of Hankook.

Actually I'm thinking of replacing my two rear tires at this place called A&K used tires over in Beltsville, MD.
They say its got 95% tread left - Michelin PS2's for $75/tire - installation included! What's the worst that can happen? |

I'm running the 275/30/19 and 295/30/19 Hankook Ventus V12 Evos, and I love them. Great price and grip. I sent the rebate in for the $50, and I had an e-mail from them saying they got it within a week.

What size rim are you running? That's pretty huge.
