this is hypothetical, but would you get a BBK+Dinan Stage 3 suspension+TE37s

or a S/C kit?

Ok.

Why?

Again, hypothetically, but this would be for a car that is tracked 10-12 times a year

Jimmy, hows the Ventura to SB drive in a lowered M? I go up there in my X5 and feel like it could bottom out. I honestly worry about even taking my M3 up that way...

Otherwise I would go up there for a day time meet anyday...

I have never had any issues. the roads are actually really good from carp to buellton on the 101 since they re paved in SB area and the pass (hwy 154) which i would recommend you drive over on your way to the valley is very nice and its an awesome road to take

Yea, I know its al good up there, its the coastal part with all the dips and broken up road that kills me. Like Ventura to carp, or carp to SB. Forget which the rall bad parts are.. Like there are literally huge 10 foot areas like 5" deep. Basically huge ass potholes...

In the X5 I go in the right lane and go like 55 through those areas...

I see what your saying. For those parts i just avoid the trenches which sometimes means i have to drive in two lanes at a time just is what it is. once you hit carp though the HWY is getting better and better each week with all the construction.

As if the M3 weren't already a top performer, the addition of SC basically takes the M3 to supercar territory. DLSJ5's videos going up against the top notch performers like 458, modified Porsche Turbos, GTRs, ZO6's, etc. would be enough for me to take that route. And to top it off its the most all around car of the bunch, Luxury the Nissan doesn't have, comfort the ZO6 doesn't have, and seating for four that the porsche or ferrari don't have....

My plan is to order and lease an M3 and then buy it when I come to lease end and keep it for a very long time. Once it becomes out of warranty and is paid for....I'll get the ess sc kit by then the next m3 will be out and the sc should be a tad more affordable!
