Weird Vibration

Hey guys! Any help would be appreciated. I switched my motor mounts out to the Vibra-Technics street mounts about two weeks ago. After the install everything was fine and there was a slight increase in vibration through the floor and steering wheel like I expected. however, after about 250 miles, between 2k and 3k rpm the car rattles significantly. The only reason it worries me is because its not how it was last week. Do motor mounts need time to settle in? Is what im experiencing normal? If you need any other info I'm happy to provide anything I can. Thank you so much for your help!

What on the car is making noise. Sometimes with extra NHV from mounts etc, the back glass can rattle at some rpm, or exhaust hangars, heat shields, trim, door panels, etc etc.

its more that the vibration intensifies like three fold in that 2-3k rpm range. The interior trim obviously rattles a little more when I'm in that range as well but there are no other obvious sounds or rattles so it may just be the stiffer mounts like you pointed out. Mainly just that the whole car vibrates intensely. Maybe it will work itself out or it just has to do with harmonics and I haven't noticed it until this point but I wanted to the pick the brains of you guys who may have dealt with a similar situation before. Thank you very much for your response.

update: Im afraid this may be more than the motor mounts. As I have driven more the vibration has gotten much worse and there is an audible metallic sound as the rpm increases..... Im not sure what damaged rod bearings sound like but I've never heard a sound like this from my engine. If the rod bearings are causing the issue, is it normal for so much vibration? would it be unusual to feel like the engine is vibrating in this case and becoming more violent the higher the rpm goes? Im sorry I wont be able to post a video until tomorrow. My car is at 113,000 miles and rod bearings are the only thing I could think of because motor mounts went in without a hitch and this problem developed later.

If anyone can offer any help with my limited info right now I greatly appreciate it. If any one with experience with rod bearing issues is near farmville virginia and can help it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for reading.

Can you visually check the mounts ? Will need to take the wheels off to check but I would before I drove it again or have the shop that installed them diagnose. Maybe something is loose that shouldn't be.
