Charging lithium-ion batteries

I bought a camera that uses lithium-ion batteries. I used it without a full first charge but just charge it for about 10 minutes. Just wondering if I might have damaged the batteries like shortening the batteries life or is it just a myth that doesn't apply to lithium-ion batteries?

Lithium-ion based batteries are pretty robust so you really shouldnt have any problems.

If later down the line you have problems, you can always fully decharge them and recharge and it should bring them back to nearly original condition.
