Bluetooth rising volume problem.

I know someone mentioned this before but how many people are having a problem with the bluetooth volume starting really low and then gradually getting louder? Is this a problem only when using an iPhone or does this happen with all phones?

Certainly happens to me with my iPhone, although I wouldn't say it slowly gets louder, more than the volume level constantly seems to be adjusting. I would say the BMW bluetooth attempts to monitor the background noise in the car, and tries to compensate for it ... or that would be more educated guess at least.
