Garage Floor
In the process of moving into a new house, and this is one of the first things i've decided to pursue. Exactly what every garage needs
Looking forward to parking the beast in there. Soon enough

That's not something you buy and put down...it's actually paint product that has that look....i believe it's applied with a paint roller! I've been contemplating doing the same to mine...i just cant bring myself to clean out my entire garage!

when you said where did you buy "it" i thought you meant it was a flooring that you lay...like race deck tiles.
Yes, it's a product that you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot.

Thanks for the compliments.
Will post pic of the car in there as well. This is actually an industrial grade paint base with epoxy coating and decorative chips. The process is actually quite intricate - at least the prep work. The garage floor was acid washed, sanded, power washed and brushed. Then they lay down the few coats of base paint, epoxy + coating, and then finally the flakes. http://www.bapaintingdfw.com/ did my place! Here is a video of the process: This is actually the darker color of grey that they had available. I definitely agree that I might have gone slightly darker, however the darker you go, the more imperfections you pick up from the concrete, dirt and grime. Really happy with the outcome!!

I just finished mine and it looks great. A darker color will make garage look smaller. I put a gloss sealer on top to give a showroom look and it will help protect the floor. The flakes you just sprinkle on while paint is still wet, you do 5 foot sections. In a couple days you seal with gloss if you want then wait at least 4 days to be safe to put car on it.

I'm not talking about paint vs. epoxy. I'm talking about whether the ucoatit epoxy is better than the retail-brand epoxies... Thanks
