have you played around with any Gt500's or Z06 on the road yet? I would be real curious how your setup would perform against those..even a 911 TT

do dynojet dynos read high? or is this kit just a monster??? How is it making so much power for so little boost?
Yes they do for the most part read higher than a Dyno Dynamics.

Stock M3's make about 330-340whp SAE on that dyno, right in line with what they should. It's making that much power @ that psi, because the kit is well designed and it's well tuned.

The VT1-535 is a MONSTER kit. ESS did an amazing job achieving this kind of power with such low boost and the price they offer it.

With more options coming to the market these days, it's great to see people taking different routes, trying different avenues, and ultimately finding the kit that meets their needs. I can't wait to see comparisons of the current and future non-intercooled kits on the market.

The OP #'s are 100% legit. My vt1-535 put down 489 on the EAS dyno with virtually no mods outside of a cat-back remus exhaust which I feel added zero HP to the car. if 4.5psi pulley gets you nearly 490whp I fully believe a 5psi pully + exhaust etc will get you into 520whp-530whp land. I'm planning on doing a race gas blend Dyno run...will be interesting to see the dyno results.

The ESS kit is a WELL TUNED BEAST...by far the best bargain on for FT on a e9x! The vt2-575 with the intercooler may prove to give longer engine longevity down the line but engine temps really are not an issue with this kit.

I'm on the same crossroad right now! A lot of people are telling me to stay with my E90 because of our high revving engine and get the ESS VT2. I want to wait for the new M3, but if I do get the new M3 F80 and race a C63 or a modded WRX STI, I know I'll get beat and I'm going to want more power. I think I'm leaning toward getting the ESS VT2 and stay with my E90. (i'm heaving a hard time deciding)

just throwing it out there but it's going to be fairly easy to pull more power out of the new Turbo M3 engine than with the one currently.
