Keeping Angel Eyes/DRLs On With Engine Turned Off

Hi!

I've tried searching in the forums but couldn't find any threads regarding this. If someone knows the answer or can direct me to the thread it is most appreciated.

I would like to keep the angel eyes/DRLs turned on when the engine is switched off. This is only for the purpose of photoshoots in order to capture the lighted angel eyes in the pictures.

Is it even possible to do this without the engine running? Perhaps I've missed something ...

Turn the car in accessory mode by putting the Key in the slot and pressing start without your foot on the brake

That's weird. I just went outside and with the engine off I turned on the parking lamps and the AE's turned on.

Make sure you have DRL turned on via iDrive too assuming you have it

I have tried that but it doesn't work. And I also tried switching to every position on the light switch. Strange ...

My AEs turn on for a couple of seconds when I unlock the car. But I have no luck getting them to stay on.
