The 'Boominess' dies down. It's a tad boomy when cold but as the exhaust breaks in and the material inside the car breaks down, it gets better. The BPM Stage II Tune really does completely change the car. It pulls much much harder.

The installer I use is an ESS distrib so I can get the exhaust and test pipes but not the BPM tune there. Can I drive it without tune and put up with cel for a while until I can get the stage 2 from mike? Obviously I won't see all of benefits until I get tuned.

Yea absolutely! I had a 2 hour ride home (well 3 hour in traffic on the nj turnpike) about 115 miles and my CEL didn't trigger until I pulled into the gym an hour (and 6 miles) later. I brought my lap top, parked close to the gym, used their wifi and Benvo tuned me in the parking lot remotely in about 5 minutes lol He was tuning 2 others simultaneously the dude is that friggen good!! Customer service at it's finest

Yup it does..mine died down to a nice bass which I really like now definitely needs a few miles to break in and sound it's best..I wish I had a GoPro to take some vids for you guys

Great sound!

I am wondering if anybody has heard the ESS x-pipe paired to the akra slip-on. Interested to hear from anyone running this particular combo.

I very much like the sound of the full ESS but I also like the Akra tips (thus my inquiry).

I know of a guy that went about 3k miles with his full ESS HFC exhaust before installing his tune with no CEL issues.

I have recently installed mine and ran about 500km without a tune and no cell at all.

I am going to post a full review with vids when I get some time but loving the exhaust.

Cannot comment on the CEL question but the ess tune pairs wonderfully with this exhaust. I absolutely love it.

I am compiling videos, and a full review to follow soon.

Any dynos yet of the High-Flow setup with ESS tune? I'm interested to see the gains as I would like to move towards an ESS S/C in the future but will be NA for about a year.

I've had the full ESS system with HFCs for about 10k miles and no CEL yet. I'm beginning to hear a little rattle at low rpm under light load. Not sure if it's the cats or something loose. Aside from that, no problems, love the sound and performance, no drone above stock, and I receive constant compliments from random people.

EAS found the source of the rattle (missing bracket). Simple fix and back on the road with a great sounding exhaust. Well over 10k miles on exhaust and still no CEL
