My friend does not have a 5.0, he has been without a car since the incident.

Nobody deserves to die, period. Is he a convicted multiple murderer, rapest, etc ?

Some of you folks are just too harsh on a guy that made a mistake.

We all make mistakes, doesn't mean we should die for it and we don't know for a fact that he hadn't had police cooperation with a closed off section of this road.

And if he did have police cooperation then its all on him. He shouldn't die for an accident. His insurance premium more than likely went up unless he had "accident forgiveness" which some of us have. That means if we get in a wreck such as this, regardless of fault, our insurance stays the same.
