BMW back in DTM.

Good news for BMW fans and DTM fans alike.
After last year announced its withdrawal from Formula 1, BMW retrieves the image in motorsport chapter and announces that starting 2012 will come in the DTM German Touring Championship.
Details of the return of BMW after 18 seasons of absence in the DTM competition are still unclear, especially given that BMW has announced that the brand return into the competition is subject to “certain basic requirements” that BMW has made the competition organizers.
“Our return in DTM is a top challenge for our team.
In the coming months we will make all necessary technical preparations which will allow us to be competitive since the start of 2012 season,” said BMW Motorsport bureau chief Mario Theissen.
